O Giver of Dreams
Keeper of the Fate
Of all the good things
That don’t always seem so great
From small speck of sand
To the ocean and great mountain top
The flame is ablaze
It so burns and it turns and won’t stop
A shrug of a shoulder
Long and tired sighs
Can’t see beyond the nose
From one’s own eyes
The days are diminished
Or so it seems to appear
Through the palm of a hand
There it slips all the years
With shining armor
Such grand display
The borders drawn neatly
Showing predator, prey
A fundamental right
Is named and proclaimed with all might
There’s always an excuse
An excuse for any old fight
The rule book teachers the victory keepers
The ra-ra and shout hooray the sore loser weepers
The fantasy league and the dream team game
They thinking they all different when they all the same!
High on the hog
At the bottom of the hill
Unwavering
Such devoted will
Well maybe he don’t know
His head from the hole in his ass
If you have a question
Please pause, take a moment, and ask
